We went last night. Very nice. They did a good job of making over this strangely difficult space. While not perfect - it's very loud for instance - it is light years ahead of the past several failed attempts. Last night it was bustling with people.

Big list of Italian wines (many in the $20 range) with 6 to 8 whites and reds (each) by the glass, half carafe, and carafe. Everything I tried (all white) was good, but I don't know enough to say more. I'm anxious to keep sampling though.

The food is good too. Simple. Meat and cheese oriented so I didn't taste too much, but what I had was tasty. Swordfish, arugala, fennel salad was nice. Egg salad sandwich was pleasingly straight forward (on white bread, no crust, done.) The cured meats were getting good marks from our picky table.

Definitely worth a look. The long (apparently) communal table in the corner could be a YAT possibility. Great addition to the neighborhood.
