alias is getting its extreme hollywood julie taymor-related makeover today. unfortunately all the pictures are in my head. (i wonder if those snakes are poisonous, and, if so, could i borrow them for a wee bit(e).)

It's for a movie. They are trying to create "St. Mark's Place in the 60's." A bunch of places in the neighborhood have gotten a lot more color. Kind of nice. Alias is definitely the craziest one though.

i was walking up suffolk(?) and saw the psychedelicish mural on the gates of the matzoh factory. i just assumed that i hadnt noticed them before and that the gates were down during the day because it was closed for the holidays. it wasnt until i saw alias that i realized all the stores along rivington were done up.
