Michelin NYC results. Per Se, Jean George, Alain Ducasse, Le Bernardin get the coveted 3 stars. WD gets only 1. Damn. When will they get their due?

I mean, Danube gets 2 stars but WD gets 1 the same as Peter Lugers? WTF?

On the other hand I do agree (as far as I know - I haven't been to all these places) with a lot of their picks.

I do hope Michelin becomes the de facto standard for NYC because the Times has chosen to put someone in charge who appears to know nothing about wine, and only a little bit about food. They really have become a joke.

Now I remember seeing that too. It's nice. Not sure Forbes really drives the food traffic, but certainly any good press is good press.

On a side note, can someone please kill the person who designed that Forbes layout. Why would anyone think I want my webpages to be an automatic slideshow?

Did Michelin lower the bar for New York?
