I'm making my first attempt at brining a turkey. We followed this Chez Panisse method. Put it in the fridge at 6:00pm last night. We'll see.

What are other folks making today? Adman? Skinny?

Roasted Duck with reduced black currant/rosemary/garlic/rum sauce.

Yum. Maybe we'll drive out if our turkey is a bust.

2:05 and it's in the oven.

Turned out pretty good. And the rest of the meal was A+. Great stuffing. Why don't we (by which I guess I mean me) make stuffing more often? And gravy? Yum yum.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
