For those of you following (with bated breath I am sure!) our juice cleanse.. Here are the instructions we received from our "guru" today on what to do next.
I have made the almond milk before (great to use in a smoothie), as well as some of the salad dressings, good stuff.
Breaking your Cleanse

As many of you are now anticipating the end of your cleanse you are probably beginning to dream of your first meal.
In order to receive maximum benefit from the cleanse, it is IMPORTANT to ease back into regular eating with Caution and Consciousness.
• It can be detrimental to your health if you break your fast incorrectly.

I have designed a simple protocol for you to follow for the first two days, and then you will gradually be adding more things to your diet, during the first week.

Things to Avoid:
• Sugar
• All Processed foods
• All white flour
• Pasta
• White Rice
• Potatoes
• Breads
• All FRIED foods

Try Not to pick instead EAT REGULAR Meals in a relaxed way,
Ideally you will break your cleanse on Sunday Morning.

1. Drink a large glass of water with Lemon
2. Followed by an herbal tea

Breakfast Smoothie:
*½ cup berries, fresh or frozen
*½ a banana or ½ an avocado
*1 1/2cups almond milk
or 1 1/2cups water and 1 tablespoon raw tahini
*1 tablespoon of spirulina or green powder or 2 leaves of Kale
Blend together until smooth and serve chilled

Drink this slowly and chew as if you were eating
Do not over drink about 4-6 oz is enough at first

Those of you who have a juicer may prefer a green juice:
4 stalks of celery
1 apple
1 cucumber
3 or 4 leaves of Kale

Blend together with ¼ avocado

Drink this slowly as well and chew as if eating
This will satiate you for hours.

3-4 oz of steamed fish …salmon is very good or a white fish

Keep your diet very simple and you will feel better

You may add about ½ cup grains to your meal buckwheat groats, millet or brown rice

If you Keep Eating in this simple way for the next 5 days you will feel great.

By Day 5 you should be back to a regular routine. Rrefrain from the sugars breads and things I mentioned earlier you should continue to do well.

followed by a mineral drink (just made for easy absorbtion liquid mineral's)
