• I dont eat them anymore but my fav's of the past came from Il Gattopardo 54th St (whats not listed is inside too is proschuito and peas) Beef and veal meatballs wrapped in savory cabbage leaves with thyme sauce and crispy salad $12

I got the meatball hero the other day for lunch. It was okay but not overwhelmingly good. And the place is not really set up for take out (you want me to wait 20 minutes for a meatball sub to go?) And for $8 it can't touch the Torta Milanese for LES lunch value. But the place is pretty cool in a Willamsburg comes to the LES sort of way.
