At Altwienerhof, before they really got to know Skinny, they were alarmed that he was ordering too much wine!

Alarmed is, I think, putting it mildly. They just wouldn't let him order any more until we drank what we had (but Skinny wanted the 3rd in line bottle to be decanting while we took care of what was in front of us.) And even then, they didn't really want him to order any more out of fear for their cellar. We were, to be sure, "Americans", and that was not a good thing. They were nervous he was going to order every under priced bottle they had (and doubly nervous that Skinny might know which bottles were under priced when they didn't.) But in the end he won them over, and we drank all we wanted and got a tour of the cellar as well. Incredible meal.

we spent a lot but the current value of these wines is 6,000++
