Had home made kale chips tonight. 1 bunch of kale. Washed, dried, chopped. Put in two baking pans spread out not overlapping too much. Sprinkled olive oil and salt. Popped in oven at 350 for (?) 10 mins. (keep an eye on it. We didn't and it over cooked slightly but not burnt. Sill real good, perhaps actually a desirable result.) they should crunch. great as veg w diner or snack w drinks!

Cool....I have had degrees of success semi deep frying kale stems in olive oil...Making sort of of kale frites...Malden on at end...good...added to reg kale as texture element also...

I think the commercial ones at Whole Foods (that are tasty but cost like a million dollars) are dehydrated rather than baked. But I've come close with the baked method by accident a few times.
