I have just received word from Israeli President Netanyahu that my Cuisinart CPK-17AMZ Perfect Temp Cordless Programmable Kettle, Stainless Steel ordered on June 17, 2017 has died.

i had put it away for a few months once i got the new coffeemaker but since i burned i pot on the stove boiling water for tea i decided to start using it again. now the big question. new cheap smaller electric kettle or stovetop? electric kettles are faster and much of my stovetop is burdened with pots and pans already. also, dont love the whistle. triggering. seems like ive already answered my question, or have i not even posed it yet? no, i did.

I would go electric, non-programable. Shalom.

I have an electric kettle for daily pour over coffee. It turns off at a range of temperature settings. Pretty fast. No whistle. 

almost bought a plastic bodum one because i like the look/size/price but then i thought better of it. plenty of options at $25 or under.
