I like tazo and mighty leaf. PG tips is alright. For me, the biggest recent evolution in my tea drinking is time and temp. I aim for about 180 degrees for about 5 minutes. This cuts down on the tannin quite a bit. Bear in mind that cut leaf gives up tannin more quickly than whole leaf.

To get to 180, I put a splash of cold water in the cup before I pour the hot water from the kettle. It doesn't take much. An instant read thermometer can be used to calibrate technique.
