Not sure what color of grape makes NDA...but I've had some tiny sips of very nice wines as part of my job. Since we aren't yet making much money, I am being educated instead.

Last night had some Puligny "Les Enseigneres" from Coche-Dury and Ch Rayas, both 2000. The Rayas was amazing, drinking beautifully, and utterly unlike any Chateauneuf I've ever tasted. (It's 100% grenache, which is also unusual) Other memorable tastes: Chave's Hermitage "Cuvee Cathelin" '90 (wonderful, price absurd); Madame Leroy's Puligny "Les Folatieres" 96, (delicious, too young) and a wonderful Mersault "Charmes" Hospices de Beaune Albert Grivault from '83. The customer thought it too old and left more than half the bottle. It had a lovely undertones of ripe cheese, like Langres.

There are some decent values on the list, but it's not exactly cheap. The ones I mentioned are all much too expensive for me (or anyone I know) to buy. Besides it's much more fun to taste wine with friends.
