probably would have bought whichever one was on sale for $160 but glad it ended up being this model. smaller footprint and at the 2hr mark piping hot and still tastes about the same. now just need better coffee. 

still seems overpriced for what you get. lot of plastic involved but after 30 years of french pressing i was due for a change of pace.
