just realized i ground the new beans this morning and then forgot to put them in a filter so the coffee i made was day old twice brewed grounds. oops. 

funny thing was i was worried that since i hadnt bought decaf to cut it with it would make me jittery but found it surprisingly mellow if i little undertasty which i attributed to not having the water beans ratio right.

All in all, it sounds like a win.

• well i made a second pot whcih im still slurping now. no complaints. my la colombe is on sale at 25% off bulk purchases through thursday so theres a lot of pressure around here today, coffee-wise.
