They make those caipernnia's at Barramundi (yeah, I know, they make them everywhere now, but Barramundi was early NYC adopter of that drink craze.) They have some special sugar cane like liquid that is supposedly the secret (and used to be hard to come by here, although not anymore.) I wonder if that stuff is involved? I'll get the brand name next time I go in.

Q : for Weels, What Brands of rum are from cuba? Any aged material ? Rum does rule : With tonic and lime, friut juice, cuba libre (coke and lime), poured over flan on a plate, on the rocks with a lime twist or up served in a snifter. I like the Mount-Gay from Barbados and you can get it aged. Bourboncourt(sp?) is from Haiti ?

i was mr caiperenia (sp?) for a while i sold more of they booze than any one in NYC we had Pitu at Winebow, i had coffee shop buying 25 cases at a clip in early 90's and sold to SOB's since late 1980's...
