Elizabeth Daniel is for the rich, the honeymoon'ers, or one whom eat first pay rent later--well really our bill was the most we ever spent and they gave us about $100 worth of free dessert wines the bill was 75% wine but anyone could eat there with good inexpensive wine for apox $150 person and i recommand you do--but as it was such a production i will mention the faults (IMHO) 1) the butter was not so flavorful and if they cook with it and they are cooking with butter than that is sad (and i think some dishes were too buttery) 2) the plates are hard to move as the silverware doesnt hold on them and its hard to get the last drops and i wasnt in the mood for licking---the good 1) with all the little free mini dishes there were 9 courses and while some were very good some were outstanding (salmon tartare/ahi in a lime herb gel/and the best dish of the night a rolled sole it was purrfection) 2) the staff was cool smooth and very knowlegable 3) great wines ($$$$) 4) tables not too crowded******** again i dont eat meat so i could not try thier famous sweatbread ravioli in truffle sauce etc....
