In the past couple of years my cookbook collection has grown from one, a vintage copy of Better Homes and Gardens Cookbook, to about 14 books on various cuisines and techniques. One of these is the French Laundry Cookbook. I haven't even opened it yet, because I'm not sure I'm worthy -- yet.
