i went... loved the sparkling vouvray, fantastic gazpacho with crab (great soup with a buzz)...and then i had the kobe toro -- which was great: not seared, but slowcooked instead, simple glaze, not saucy, great bitter broccoli rabe alongside it, altogether wow...BUT, I had to admit finally, TOO MUCH for me, just too damn rich, as an entree!! imagine that, defeated by a piece of fish...(don't mean to suggest i didn't eat every bite, but the last few were a little stressed)...my suggestion: order it as an appetizer for 2. only slight downer was a glass of long island chardonnay which i ordered basically just to see if the waitress knew something special about wine (she didn't)...man am i happy to have a new fish place in my soon to be new neighborhood. having said all of which, MAN it ain't cheap. maybe once a month then...? twice? just get the clams as takeout...? icthyomaniacs unite!!
