My father and I did keep bees when I was a kid. I've been stung many times but only twice had allergic reactions. I first noticed my honey allergy when I was about 30. If I eat a spoonful or more of honey my tongue feels like I burned it on hot food or liquid. I figure it's going to get worse as I get older so I try to avoid honey altogether.

Funny, we have some supposedly fab local honey in a bear bottle sitting here waiting to give Linda and Skinny. We were going to give it to you last time we were supposed to go over.
