vongole

Is vongole the best easiest to make dish? You almost can't mess it up if the clams are good. Yum.

I say no pork but not because it wouldn't be good. I just think it is about simple here. Clams, garlic, white wine, olive oil, salt, parsley. Skinny's tip to finish pasta in pan with clams is a must. Parsley goes on top at end but I also chop a bit of the stems in with garlic at beginning. I used to use some onion but b. Advised against and it is much better. Used a bit of butter here but does not need.
