someone mentioned Heroes on nbc. caught a few minutes of it and it seemed promising. without ever having seen lost, im going to say they share a sensibility. add in an x-men factor and probably a hint of 24. watch for yourself. theres a two minute synopsis or the first episode available online.

watched part of cool hand luke this morning on the history channel. now they may be reaching in calling this history but i did like that during an intermission they had a conversation with a history professor to deconstruct elements of the movie sort of like tcm does with their saturday night movie but markedly less frivilous.
