He clarified it as (i believe) "vacume fear", The compulsion to fill space. Any one hear are are familar with the actual term ?
Aint No Crime / NO MORE GRIMES

Mr Grimes said that in 2001 the two best burgers were DB Bistro and Dim Sum Go Go. In the window of DSGG there is a sign,
DB Bistro Burger $27.50
Dim Sum Go Go $8.95 for 4
I never had the DBBB but for sure the DSGG rocks the burger dept.
the bun is steamed and the burger slippery delish, maybe made with pork and beef tendon plus toes hoof and tail, textured more like sausage to me, so move over Jimmy Dean, and the taro fries so crisp and clean with more texture than potato....HOME RUN
Cops Seize 756 Pounds of Smuggled Bologna
By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

Published: November 24, 2003

EL PASO, Texas (AP) -- Border agents last week landed a meaty bust, seizing 756 pounds of bologna arranged into the shape of a car seat and covered with blankets in a man's pickup.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers seized 81 rolls of Mexican bologna Friday at the Paso Del Norte bridge as the pickup entered the United States.

``It puts the ultimate consumer at risk,'' said customs spokesman Roger Maier. ``Who knows how long these products have gone without refrigeration or without proper handling?''

Children were sitting on top of the illegal load before it was discovered, Maier said. The rear seat had been removed from the extended-cab pickup and the bologna was put in its place.

He said the agency plans to pursue civil penalties against the Mexican man driving the truck. Maier said the agency won't release the man's name until the case goes to trial.

Maier said the bologna goes for about $1 a roll in Juarez. When it is sold to a customer in the United States, it can go for between $5 and $10 a roll , he said.

""It may come as a suprise to pregnant mothers but many of the oders and falvors to which they are exposed are also experienced by the fetuses. The ability to smell begins aroung 28 weeks.....throughount the 3rd trimester she could smell almost everything that mom ate or inhaled, perfume, exhaust, soup at lunch....One Isreali report even noted that mothers who ate strongly spiced food shortly before going into labor gave birth to "peculiar-smelling newborns."".....off to dim sum....

Hey Frank, I had a dream last night that you posted something. Unfortunately the dream switched before I got the chance to read it. You there? How goes?
I can even post on the group pages! Hey, guys, did you see me in Intolerable Cruelty?
10. Tell me about your relationship with Quentin. How did you meet? Do you
spend much time together. Talk about your trip to the Kill Bill set and your
thoughts on the film?

quentin and i were both raised by wolves in california and we reunited in 1997
through a mutual friend. I love him and i love his work. kill bill was one helluva friday night movie and i suppose we all have to wait for saturday night to really make sense of what the hell is going on....we spend as much time together as we should.....just enough. My trip to China to visit him was mostly about making sure that the extascy was good enough for him to try....seeing the great wall, visiting all the landmarks, sleeping in a nice hotel, watching him kill people, getting blood all over me and helping spend Miramax's money....

Please welcome a new addition to the Tree: Sally McKay's weblog. Sally is an artist based in Toronto, who will be covering the art scene there (among other things); she was an editor for several years of the now retired art magazine Lola. Some of you met her at a recent Tree-related event, during her visit to NY. I recommend her writing and take on things: you can add her page to your front page in [subscriptions].

Oh, and "McKay" is pronounced like why rather than whey, because of diverging Scottish bloodlines.

BOOGIE NYC

Under the plan, the city would issue "nightlife licenses" to clubs and bars that meet certain qualifications, Dykstra said. Nightlife establishments that serve beer or food would need a two-year license if they were:

_ Located in a residential or mixed-use neighborhood.

_ Had a capacity of more than 75 people.

_ Played music at a level above 90 decibels.

_ Remained open past 1 a.m.

Establishments in commercial, manufacturing and certain mixed use zones would need a capacity of more than 200 _ along with the other factors _ to require a license.
