really hard to get through this supposedly last mission impossible between the schmaltz, the flashbacks, the many faces (fat/thin) of tom cruise, the endless exposition and the portentiousness. wonder who owns the ip and how many years will they wait for a reboot? 

funniest thing they did is bring back a character from the first movie who was basically an afterthought and give him a crucial role in plot.
