meanwhile, checked the knicks score as long as i was avoiding the oscar nonsense. they are playing a team with all their starters either sitting or injured and are down nine at the half. they did the same the other night against a team that had lost 11 straight and came back and won but i think that team had even more to lose for. tanking is a big issue in the nba right now. teams with no chance losing for better draft odds. tonights opponents are technically still in the playoff hunt so not necessarily trying to lose. would really be an ugly loss for the knicks who are a very good team on some nights but dont feel like championship contenders which they tell me is the goal. they pretty much sucked for two decades so fans should be happy they are relevant but who wants to be happy when you can be ecstatic for like an hour if your team wins it all.

guess im not gonna watch the oscars this year but will follow along for the major categories on social media now.

saw that sean penn won over the dude from sinners which all things considered is kind of a shame.

watched the first 5 eps of paradise on hulu? wasnt blown away by season one, another post apocalyptic bunker drama. sterling k brown is the lead and he is pretty compelling. season 2 has been better i think as the world got bigger least least interesting ep was a throwback to events inside the mountain city.

anyway, feels like slim pickings lately to this was appropriately diverting.
