what sayest thou of this chair bill and co? i found a pair on the street and despite having no discernible use for them i decide to adopt them temporarily. want my friend with the house upstate to take them but he is a dipshit as i have previously mentioned. cant find a brand but found a similar type which i wont link to now because because because because..... slightly dampened by the rain but seem structurally sound, moss notwithstanding.

lotta people gonna be watching clue today. wonder what tim currys book club was called?

was also informed that they revamped the mixed doubles format at the us open. wasnt an exhibition. rules to follow when i remember to care.

The mixed doubles matches played today were an official part of the US Open tournament, not an exhibition.

Tournament Details

  1. Real Competition: This is a newly revamped, high-stakes mixed doubles event at the US Open with a $1 million grand prize.
  2. Big Stars: Famous players like Serena Williams, Carlos Alcaraz, Novak Djokovic, and Aryna Sabalenka entered the draw.
  3. Fast Format: The condensed tournament played out quickly on Tuesday, with the semifinals and final scheduled for Wednesday.
  4. Competitive Results: Top players and major star pairings—including Djokovic/Sabalenka and Williams/Alcaraz—were actively knocked out in hard-fought real matches.

dont want to blow smoke but no matter how successful his agenda (funny how small this section he is talking about repairing is) this guy is just a superlative political communicator.

went on a long rant elsewhere about not liking a big bag of lavazza i bought on the cheap. then kept referring back to it trying to goad anyone into buying me better coffee. there were no takers. there were no likers. people must just hate..... coffee.

i think wendys has lost the plot.

heard good things. needed a walk destination. did not need a line around the corner for the lunch crowd. prices hurt my feelings. was only gonna get the oat loaf because the bakery around the corner from here is on summer break. nearly got my four plus miles in which also hurts. much more pleasant environs. those billion nyc trees cant come fast enough. if only there was an ocean nearby.

The Inn at Little Washington the documentary

started watching movies with my mom last week. she wanted to see oppenheimer. became a nightly feature so decided to end with a trip to see the odyssey. was not prepared for the torrent of sound. didnt help we were sitting towards the back near a side wall. was really brutal. my mother had to leave after about an hour. my nerves not being shot and more comfortable with loud i soldiered on but it was unpleasant at times. immersive is one thing. drowning is another.

was kind of underwhelmed. see how i feel after devouring some post mortems.
